If you’re anything like me you’ll be missing the sun BIG TIME. I am such a sun lover and I absolutely love being bronzed. I felt that I was kind of over my teenage fake tanning days, I just didn’t enjoy looking orange or smelling like biscuits. Instead, I just embraced the pale skin (I’m talking MAC NW15).
Now, as a Look Fantastic Beauty Box* subscriber, I was delighted to receive a new gradual tanning lotion in my June Beauty Box. I’m up for trying anything out and giving it a fair go, and I knew that my summer tan from Cape Verde would not last me through the winter months (yet alone September). So, the gradual tanning lotion that I received was the Fabulous Self Tanning Gradual Lotion* by Vita Liberata. I’m always a little bit apprehensive when brands use words like ‘fabulous’ in their product name, I feel like they either will be amazing or it will be a huge disappointment.
Well, this product is anything but disappointing let me tell you that now, and I’ll tell you why…
- It doesn’t smell – it actually contains technology to eliminate the usual fake tan (biscuit) smell
- It is extremely gradual – you will not wake up in the morning looking orange and streaky
- Super moisturising – not just a gradual tanner, but also a fab moisturiser.
- THE GLOW – now this is the best thing I find with this product, it makes you look lightly sunkissed. The colour is so natural and perfect for this time of the year where you just want a subtle tan.
I would 100% recommend this to anyone with fair skin who are looking for a natural glow who have tried and tested all of the other self-tanning lotions on the market. In my Beauty Box I recieved the 50ml bottle, and it still has plenty left; you only need a small amount as the product travels well on the body. The 200ml can be bought here* for £15 (with free delivery). It is not the cheapest on the market of self tanning lotions, but it is honestly worth every penny.. and also it’s cheaper than a holiday right?
I would love to know if you have tried this out before. Have you had any fake tan disasters that you’d like to share (I can’t be the only one, lol).
