My Current Favourite Perfumes

My Current Favourite Perfumes

There’s something about perfume that makes me happy. It’s like I never feel fully dressed or ready until I’ve put some perfume on. I have quite a growing collection of sprays that I have acquired over the years, but I want to share with you the ones that I’m really loving at the minute. P.s: I love strong, yet fresh perfumes.

Gucci – Envy Me*

This is probably the lightest smell of all those pictured. The top notes for this fragrance are pink peony, water jasmine and pink pepper. A perfect perfume for everyday wear and has the most beautiful smell, light and fresh, and it is instantly recognisable. I’ve actually been wearing this perfume for years, it is a staple in my collection because I just love it so much. The bottle is tall, sleek and feminine. Can be quite hard finding this in stores, so my suggestion would be to buy online.

Gucci – Bamboo*

‘Strong yet graceful’ is the complete epitome of this perfume. I received this perfume as a birthday present back in August after trying it out in duty free. I fell in love with it instantly. This fragrance has fragrant and woody notes giving it a light but intense smell. I usually wear this perfume for date nights as it is more of an evening smell for me. The bottle is fabulous, it looks super expensive and magical! Next time you’re in a perfume shop, try this – you’ll fall in love with it just like I did.

Mugler – Alien*

An old classic favourite of mine. People can smell me from a mile away when I am wearing this, it has such a strong scent with amazing longevity. I personally love the heavy aroma of this perfume, for some it might be too strong and intense. You only need a couple of sprays of this due to the strength of the smell. This perfume is woody, yet seductive and feminine. The bottle is classy and extremely distinctive.

Dior – J’adore*

I recently received a sample of this perfume at a Dior counter. I was a bit apprehensive at first as I thought this would be more of a classic fragrant and not my cup of tea. However, I must admit that the smell of this perfume is absolutely beautiful. The scent is so fresh and sophisticated, and it actually lasts for hours and hours. I feel super classy and elegant when wearing this, and when Dior have this on offer I would like to buy a full sized bottle.

Chanel – Coco Mademoiselle*

Got to save the best till last, obviously. This perfume is my ALL TIME favourite. Strong yet fresh, a complete staple in my perfume collection and it always will be. I have actually had the bottle pictured for 4 years, and I still have some left (hard to see as the bottle is lying down – it is a 100ml bottle FYI). I only use this for special occasions or when I need a pick-me-up. It is the most luxurious scent ever, its longevity is incredible and the bottle is just extremely classy. I couldn’t be without it.

Have you got any perfumes that you absolutely love? Perhaps you have tried and tested some of the perfumes that I have mentioned in this post? Let me know your thoughts, I would love to know.
